This week, we had a few repeats, one of the first times actually. I think as a group, we like to experiment so much that the repeats aren’t happening even though we like so many of the dishes. Soon, I’ll be writing about some of the dishes that we’ve made for each other that later we go on to make for a dinner party or ourselves on a weekend.
But for now, here’s last week’s meals:
- Vegetable Tagine with Potatos, Peas, Carrots, and Tomatoes and Chicken Tagine with Chick Peas and Tomatos and Couscous
- Nicoise Salad
- Butter Chicken Masala, Stuffed Eggplant Curry, Paneer Kebabs and Delicata Squash. You can find the Squash recipe on my other blog, right here. One of the kids loved it so much that he exclaimed to his little brother: “Look look! Today we got French Fries!!” Both my girls adored the squash as well, by itself though and without the accompanying relish. I was surprised they didn’t like it, since to them, I named it “Apple Pie Relish”. Sometimes, it’s all in the names, but perhaps not, in this case!
